- Special guidance for GPAT Examination: All the faculty members are actively involved in conducting additional lectures series for the students who are appearing for GATE Examination.
- Special Guidance for GRE / TOEFL / IELTS: In order to go for higher studies, abroad special guidance is given to the students for said competitive examinations.
Students of Third & Final Year B. Pharm. are assigned innovative projects on subjects related to their syllabus and topics of current technical as well scientific and research importance.
National Cadet Corps" is considered to be the second line of defense for the country. On MIT campus, the activity of NCC was started in the year of 1995.Youthful, energetic, sincere & patriotic boys & girls come together and work as NCC cadets, with the motto, "Unity & Discipline". NCC helps a great deal in shaping up the overall personality of these young men & women, who would be the responsible citizens of tomorrow & in whom lies the future of the country.
Eminent personalities from Industries and Academia are invited for Guest Lectures & Seminars in order to keep the students abreast with latest knowledge and developments in the pharmaceutical field.
Journal Club comparise of faculty members, M.Pharm, Final year and Third year B.Pharm. students. Journal club has been created as platform for the interaction of faculty members as well as students for exchange of current trends and knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences. Faculty members and students are encouraged to share and discuss their views of research activities. A culture of research is promoted by journal club of the college.
Provide the students an excellent opportunity to nurture their hidden talents and to represent the literary skills as well as technical knowledge. "INTERFACE" is the platform for - "The Pharmacists", to express ideas, views, talent, emotions, knowledge as well as to be creative and interactive, in not only the field of pharmacy, but art, literature and also depicts our culture. Wall Magazine is divided in to various sections viz. 'Its my day' (display birth dates of students and staff), 'Don't laugh' (jokes), 'Shining India' (information about India), 'Illusions', Cartoons, Paintings, Research Article etc
As per Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act 1999 which is in effect from 15th May 1999 and as per the directives of University of Pune, All India Council Of Technical Education, Ragging has been strictly prohibited in the college. College has anti-ragging and counseling cell to promote a culture of discipline and protective environment for the students for their personal as well as academic development.
Sports played with dedicated team spirit and sportsmanship is best way to relax and distress hectic academic schedule. MAEER's Maharashtra Institute of Pharmacy Pune, believes in developing these qualities in students along with bright academics. "Healthy Mind Lies In Healthy Body" sport is best exercise to keep the body healthy. It has been rightly said Physical fitness and wellness are one's richest possessions; they cannot be purchased, they are to be earned through regular exercise and systemic fitness and positive lifestyle habits. For this we have tradition of celebrating "Sports Week" right from the year of inception. Every year this event achieves overwhelming success. It is organized in the last week of December. We do not believe in confining student's talents to the four walls of classroom. To enable the students to display their creativity and brilliance, Annual Social Gathering is held every year. It is held for three days in the second week of February where students showcase their talents in the form of various cultural activities like Group Dance, Fashion Shows, Dramas, Singing, Mimicry, Flower Decoration, Rangoli, Painting, etc Eminent personalities grace the occasion and felicitate students who have excelled in Academics, Sports and Extracurricular activities. This meet concludes with lunch.
