Duration: 04 Academic Years
Intake: 60 (Sixty)
A. For Admission to First Year B. Pharm:
(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates.-
(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology and obtainedat least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together ;
(iii) Obtained Score in CET
(2) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, foreign National.-
(i) The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology, and obtained at least 50 % marks in the above subjects taken together ;
(ii) Any other criterion declared by appropriate authority from time to time.
B. Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) Admission,-
For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate,-
i) The Candidate should be an Indian National
(ii) Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy with at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from an All India Council for Technical Education or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.
(iii) Any other criterion declared by appropriate authority from time to time.
Examinations: The university follows an annual pattern of examinations, which includes 20 marks internal sessional Examination conducted by college & 80 marks annual university examination for theory as well as practical’s. In an academic year three sessional examinations in subject for theory and practical sessional examinations for 20 marks each out of which average of the best two performances is considered for calculating internal marks. The final university examination of 80 marks for each subject is conducted by university of Pune at the end of each academic year. The Pune University awards the degree after successful completion of practical training of prescribed duration in pharmaceutical manufacturing companies.
